Garden Design

Our design work consists of clear communication, sketches, and drawings — plus an estimate of material costs and a guide on how to complete the design. All design options include a free one-hour consultation.

We focus on small-scale design: no large machinery, no concrete pouring, no retaining walls. Work that's thoughtful and right-sized for your space.

Everything in our design process, plus our team personally installing it to ensure its full potential and growth. We handle the labor, source the plants, and see it through to completion.

Once installed, we offer monthly or bimonthly maintenance to continue the garden's development. Most clients add it on — it's the best way to protect the investment.

We serve San Francisco, the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and surrounding areas), and Marin County. If you're on the edge of our range, just ask — we're flexible.

No. Most maintenance clients give us gate or yard access. We leave a brief note after every visit with what we did and anything we noticed.

We ask for a 3-month minimum so we can see your garden through at least one full season and build a real care plan. Most clients stay with us long-term.

Typically 2–4 weeks from the initial consultation to a finished plan, depending on the size and complexity of the space. Installation timelines vary by project scope.

Yes. We'll walk your space and tell you what's worth keeping, what we'd replace, and why. We never remove existing plants without talking through it first.
